I go a few jump north and fight CVA and their bloc.
I go a few jump west and fight goons and their bloc.
Or I go east a few jumps and fight Init or further east, minor threat and the curse residence.

You need to travel all the way across the map out of carebear land to get a fight and even then you still need to blue people around you when you get there
